Genes of the immune response in the pathogenesis of atopic bronchial asthma in children of the East Siberian Region

The distribution of genotypes and allelic variants of polymorphic genes for the regulation of the immune response IL4 (rs2070874, rs2243250) and IL5 (rs2069812) was studied in order to study the formation of predisposition to atopic bronchial asthma (ABA) of varying severity in children of European origin residing in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The analysis was performed on DNA isolated from peripheral blood by a standard method with a sorbent. Genotyping was carried out by PCR and RFLP-analysis with electrophoretic detection in agarose gel. The frequencies of genotypes corresponding to Caucasoid populations were determined. A tendency to association of polymorphism IL4 (C-33T) with light form of atopic bronchial asthma in children was revealed. Further study will reveal clear genetic markers among the immune response genes for the purpose of personalized diagnosis of the risk of developing ABA and the treatment of its severe forms.
