APPLICATION OF LICOPID IN NEWBORNS WITH INTRAUTERINE GROWTH RETARDATION AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF INFECTIOUS PROCESS
O.V. Pervishko, N.V. Kolesnikova, L.A. Nikulin
Intrauterine growth retardation due to infectious pathology is associated with impairment of the major functions of neutrophil granulocytes and profound changes in the levels of cytokines regulating these cells. The application of complex therapy may be clinically beneficial, but does not bring immunologic parameters to the normal levels. The combination of complex therapy with the immune modulator Licopid not only has beneficial clinical effect but improves immunologic status of newborns as well. (Cytokines and Inflammation. 2005.
