Lysosomal enzymes. A new look at fundamental matters from the cardiologists point of view

O.V. Tsygankova,L.A. Ruyatkina, Z.G. Bondareva

Certain perspectives in studying of pathogenetic mechanisms and ways of therapeutic treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease and dyslipidemia could be connected with the detailed studying of biogenesis of lysosomal enzymes, which present in polymorphonuclear leukocytes and play one of the major roles in pathophysiology of systemic inflammation. Influence of the extreme stimuli such as hypoxia/ischemia, endogenous tissue or microgerm decay products, intense glucocorticoid synthesis, increased tone of sympatho - adrenal and renin - angiotensin - aldosteron systems, lowering of insulin concentration, oxidative stress activation, - all lead to a violation of the lysosomal membranes integrity with subsequent development of chain cytolytic process and a number of negative metabolic events. (Cytokines and Inflammation. 2009. Vol. 8, 4. P. 11-17.)

Keywords: lysosomes, enzymes, polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
