P.A. Sarapultsev, A.P. Sarapultsev
The review examines the basic mechanisms of stress action on the immune system. The authors concluded that the development of stress reaction is accompanied not only with the quantitative changes in the characteristics of peripheral blood, but with qualitative changes in the phenotype of immune cells and cytokines production as well. The review discloses the basic reasons of stress reaction's manifestation variability. (Cytokines and Inflammation. 2014. Vol. 13. № 4. P. 5–10.)
