Immunologic characteristics of patients with psoriatic arthritis according to gender differences

Psoriatic arthritis — a systematic immunoassociated disease of a multifactorial nature, characterized by epidermal hyperproliferations and a violation of their differentiation, immune responses in the skin and synovial membranes, the progressive inflammatory involvement of joints and spine. The results of the study of the cytokine profile of 101 patients with psoriatic arthritis (60 women and 41 men aged 18-67 years) are presented. The dependence of the cytokine profile of psoriatic arthritis patients on sex was revealed. (Cytokines and Inflammation. 2017. Vol. 16. № 3. P. 31–32.)
